Trump just cares about attention and power for its own sake. He doesn’t care about policy or what to do with power. For that, he’ll rely on those around him: Laura Loomer, JD Vance, Elon Musk, Stephen Miller, and the Project 2025 crew. A vote for Trump is a vote for them.

John Roberts sounds delusional. Not insane or hallucinating. But so out of touch, so high on his own supply, so deep in a bubble that Roberts—per this NYT report—thought his awfully reasoned, wildly un-American immunity ruling would be well received by the public and history.

It's HIGHLY unusual for a majority opinion to be reassigned from one justice to another when nobody has flipped. It seems Roberts seized the J6 case from Alito to avoid bad optics. Which is so damning—if Alito couldn't *write* the opinion, he obviously needed to recuse himself!

It's good that DeWine is speaking up. But he could do two more things: Go to Springfield, meet with law-abiding residents of all backgrounds, and pledge the state's support for those who are being threatened by bigotry and terror. Withdraw his support for Trump-Vance.
