I worked with a student on a paper. They submitted a small extension, copying multiple sections, re-using codes, and pretty much the entire idea - and submitted (& got accepted to ACL SRW) as a sole author. 4 people worked on this, is there something I can do about this?

The CHI 2025 deadline is finally upon us! Are you ready??

Submitting a short paper to this years' CHI. Really interested to see what the review process is like for short papers, having never done this before. Has anyone here ever reviewed or submitted a short paper? I confess I've never done so, and don't know what to expect.
