I will forever stand by the fact that Ghost is not a ghost because he is aggressive, distant, or antisocial. No, most people who have worked with him remember him as a very nice guy. Bad jokes. Good skills. Even greater teammate. Rarely ever does he even raise his voice.

Can you imagine? How much it hurts, the day nothing turns into something. They've just fucked, dirty and quick like what they do is. Releasing pent up energy and crashing into exhausted sleep right after. Bodies running on empty for the last few days of their mission.

(SoapGhost simping) He's beautiful. That is a fact you can't deny. Every smile he shily shares, looking down as if he needs to hide his joy - it makes Soap want to reach over and nudge his chin up high. Just so he can greedily watch every shape it takes.

Listen, I enjoy sunshine Soap. But I also see him as much, much more driven and aggressive than Ghost is. I bet Ghost tones him down. His jokes keep him from working himself up into a steaming type of anger that grows till he explodes. And his calm gives Soap a steady anchor.
