Our statelessness issues are bad enough. We don’t need laws that will worsen statelessness. Stop punishing these innocent souls. It makes me so sad and angry watching this.

How can this government on one hand condemn the plight of Palestinian children in Gaza and on the other hand subject our stateless children to deprivation of basic human rights by removing their right to citizenship through amendment to 1(e)? How is it any different?

The support, empathy, and compassion demonstrated by the MADANI government towards Palestinians have been truly touching. Now, can the government also extend just half of that compassion to stateless children who deserve to be recognized as Malaysians please.

What a distasteful tweet during this challenging time for this family. My heart goes out to Syed Saddiq and his family. I know he will fiercely fight for his innocence. May fairness and justice prevail.

If we pardon someone who stole BILLIONS, we should pardon mothers who steal milk powder & food to feed their children.

Abandoned babies endure a silent battle: striving for survival, longing for love & grappling with abandonment scars throughout their lives. Yet soon in Malaysia, abandoned babies also have to fight for their birthright citizenship. This is inhumane. We must speak up.

So I’ve heard all the MPs have to follow the party whip..or else. I don’t know what to say so I am posting this. Please do the right thing. You are robbing the children of their rights. It cannot be more blatant and obvious if you vote with the amendments!

Decoupling these amendments is crucial. Let's not further complicate the lives of abandoned babies and stateless children. Compassion is needed. Please vote with wisdom and empathy.
