Love doesn’t disappear when someone dies—it transforms. If you still feel them in the quiet moments… That’s not your imagination. That’s love continuing. Death ends a life, but it doesn't end a connection. #grief #griefjourney #davidkessler #davidkesslergrief

In grief, guilt can feel like control—something to hold onto. Feeling helpless is sometimes unbearable. “If only I had…” becomes a script, even when nothing could’ve changed the outcome. What have you blamed yourself for… that might just be your mind trying to hold on?

There’s no shortcut through grief. No bypass around pain. But when we allow even one honest feeling, healing quietly begins. What’s one feeling you’ve been avoiding… that might be asking to be felt today? #grief #griefsupport #davidkesslergrief

Death and dying tend to be hidden in today’s world. It’s something that we rarely talk about openly. Such a fascinating conversation I had on the Body of Wonder podcast with hosts Dr.Andrew.weil pvt Acct and Dr. Victoria Maizes. Click here for the full episode: awcim.arizona.edu/podcast/episod…

Grief isn’t just the love we remember—it’s the pain that loops in our minds. When the mind ruminates, try grounding in the present, acknowledging your emotions, & disrupting the cycle with self-compassion. What helps you find peace?

When someone has a illness of the mind, people often judge the person. People say inappropriate things about such illnesses that they would never say about anyone who has a physical disease. Not implying that we handle physical illness really well either. Thoughts?

Grief is a profound and complex journey that cannot be rushed or bypassed. Despite our desire for a quick fix to alleviate the pain, the process of grieving requires time and patience.

Grief’s paradox: The cruelest truth in grief is also the most liberating: the hole in your heart isn’t meant to be filled. Healing begins the moment we stop trying to patch it, fill it, or fix it. Thoughts? #grief #griefsupport #griefeducator #trauma #DavidKessler
