Seated for: 1st movie after having emergency surgery in mid-May at the only theatre in town that is showing it in a premium large format (ACX Elkhorn (1st time here, nice digs). With my dad, who hasn’t seen a M: I movie in the theatre since the first one.

Shout out to the my screening of Elio today that had a properly masked screen for their PLF theatre. Tired of unproperly masked screens. Also, tired of the exit sign lights shining on the screen. Will be going there often for movies that didn't have IMAX PLF screenings.

Going to try to go out and see 28 Years Later for a second watch before it leaves theatres. Hopefully the big tentpoles won’t kick it out once August hits. Lots of interesting movies coming soon, both big budget and indie. We shall see.

Saw Ballerina this morning. Movie rips. Wouldn’t mind a sequel.

Watched Pride (2014) earlier this week, and now Andrew Scott has been invited to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and Dominic West is going to play Doc McGhee in the Scorpions biopic. I manifested all of this.

You guys have too much baggage when it comes to watching a Jurassic World movie for the first time. You need to leave it at the door and experience the thrill of these dinosaur movies like you’re seeing them for the first time. They’re science fiction in the first place.

Shout out to my local AMC for finally adding an AMC A-List line. Hopefully it will still be there for Fantastic Four.
