Got an Uber yesterday, driven by a very nice Muslim man. He had Handel's Messiah playing on the radio, so we talked about that and then about London and Sadiq Khan. He thought that Khan was a very divisive Mayor because of the favoritism he shows to some groups, but not others.

Reading posts on here from Labour and Tory MPs, none of them get why so many are turning to Reform. The illegal migrant boats have been a major issue since Johnson's time. He failed to stop them. Sunak also failed. People turned to Starmer and he too has failed. Thus, Reform!

I'm already tired of these Labour MPs banging on about county flags being 'banned' by Reform. For a start, I'm surprised they've all become 'flag-shaggers' overnight (I thought that was 'gammon' territory). Second, if that's their best dig against Reform, they're in trouble...

Trying to get a GP appointment, I'm forced to listen to a five minute long recorded spiel about their diverse team and how they'd rather I went online instead rather than bothering them over the phone. At the end, I'm told. "We can't take your call right now. Goodbye!" 😡

There seems to be an absolute plague of users (mainly from the US) asking asinine questions for clicks on X at the moment. Out of the last 25 posts, at least 10 of them are like this. Makes a change from 'Do you remember this?' posts, I guess... 🙄

Following the failure of the 'Flapping Fish of Doom', I bought a new cat toy which runs around the floor. Once again, Dido and Luna took one look at it and streaked down to the bottom of the garden where they are presently hiding behind a bush... 🙄

People who equate criticism of Islam with a hatred of Muslims are completely wrong. I feel extremely sorry for Muslims, particularly women and LGB people in their community, struggling under the weight of medieval religious dogma and the domestic tyranny it teaches.

Something most people won't know about me is my interest in religion, isn't a new thing for me. This isn't my first rodeo. I’ve been fascinated with religion since I could read — maybe before. Don’t ask me why. Maybe because my house had none. No prayers before bed, no crosses

Every third tweet on here at present seems to be from leftists saying that anyone against unlimited immigration is a total racist. There is apparently no room for argument or compromise. This comes across as simplistic, emotional and childish. Why can't we talk like adults?

My PC had a faulty fan. I looked up the nearest PC repair place and called. Not only did the lovely man get it repaired within 24 hours (including ordering and fitting a new fan) but he picked it up and brought it back to me! The cost was reasonable too. Excellent service!

I've made a huge mistake with Dido. Yesterday, I showed her a YouTube video of little mice running around specifically made for cats. Since then, she has been permanently sitting on my desk staring at the monitor awaiting the return of the mice - even when it's switched off!

Every third or fourth post on here seems to be that stupid 'ad' about bit coins or whatever it is. "They removed the episode in under 2 hours, but the internet had already saved it." Yeah, right... 🙄 So tedious!
