We woke today to learn our brother, David Pleasant, died last night and three other Memphis Fire Fighters members were injured in a crash. #IAFF56th started today with Memphis delegates sharing a story of David's leadership. Our hearts are with his family this morning.

The #IAFF56th Convention came to a close Thursday in Ottawa, ON. Delegates considered remaining resolutions, including the censure of officials who've acted against the interests of their local firefighters, & honored 16 members from across the IAFF with Local Leadership Awards.
