1/. Lots of fire in @constantraise's thread, so I'm throwing in my two cents.

It doesn't matter whether or not @constantraise (or anyone else for that matter!) is anonymous. I don't agree with everything Dan says (he'll be the first to tell you that - we've bantered plenty).

This will shake people up ... hopefully open a few minds.

When I'm being charged for them to 'review' my 'thank you' email response (at nearly $400 an hour) and then seeing paper and postage (in an amount under $5) being charged to send what's left of my retainer back.

I completely understand the cost to operate, but nickel and diming?

- Tune out the noise.

- Control what you can control.

- Model the behavior.

Winners always center the conversation back to what they could have done better rather than focusing on how someone else “impacted” the results they were looking for.

Seriously! How hard is it to figure out something so simple?

Sit in your seat, stop crowding people so they can have room to collect their belongings / carry-on, and then go when it's your turn.

Like so many things these days in society, too many entitled to go 'first'.

My feed has been a battle for authenticity (where it comes across unauthentic trying so hard to convince everyone of their authenticity while cutting others down they deem not to be authentic).

That said, I love the varied voices / perspectives, so I take it for what it’s worth.

Finding a way to get it done is indeed a choice … your move to make as long as you make the choice to take it.

Ohh ... how the outlook from feast to famine can change overnight.

Reminders of how often this became a nightmarish reality for many during the financial crisis (add in #property values that were dropping off the cliff then ... you know the rest of the story).

Be good people. Surround yourself with good people. Put in the work. Put in the work. Put in the work. Trust the process. Sprinkle in a little intuition along the way … and the change you’re looking for will begin to take shape.
