A short-term closure is planned for the Adams Lane bridge to complete needed drainage improvements. The bridge is expected to close around 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 30 & reopen by Oct. 12. An overnight closure is also needed on KY 425 on Sept. 29. Learn more at bit.ly/4pLUu4g.

We’re moving closer to the start of construction for ORX Section 2, which includes the new I-69 bridge. Just last month, over 150 contractors, suppliers, and consultants gathered for an Industry Forum to talk about the project. A contract is expected to be awarded next fall.

Please watch for brief stoppages on the westbound Audubon Parkway on Friday morning. The short closures are expected between SR 1078 (Exit 5) and US 41 from 9am to noon on Friday, Oct. 3. Closures will be brief – approximately 15 minutes – so crews can install overhead signs.

Great news, drivers! 🚘 The Adams Lane bridge over US 41 is back open after crews completed needed drainage improvements. ✅ Extensive upgrades were made to the bridge earlier this summer, including new beams and a new deck for the bridge. 🏗️

Wow! Crews are gearing up to pour concrete for the deck of the first approach bridge later this month. It will be a big effort!

We're getting ready for our first big pour on one of the new approach bridges in Evansville! 🏗️🚧 We'll start pouring concrete for the nearly 4,000 foot long bridge at the end of this week. It'll take 12+ hours and 170+ truckloads of concrete with two more pours this year.

We’ve reached a major milestone – pile driving is complete in Evansville! Over the last year, more than 86,000 feet of vertical piling was driven deep into the ground to support three new approach bridges.
