I don't exactly go here but I do dabble into it because I enjoy the music but my understanding of the story is that it must be really good to the ten people into it that have critical thinking skills.

VERY interesting & worth a read. the thought of segyein grooming bigotry in certain humans because it works to benefit them is similar to how bigotry is encouraged in our world to prevent, for example, underprivileged workers from banding together. it helps to have an “other”.

It isn't impossible to understand it as a teenager, but most of them don't have neither the experience nor the self-awareness to recognize tropes and stereotypes that the story subverts/portrays/even mocks in some places. Or recognize They themselves are part of the problem +
