Raindrops flowing down, is this a Matrix symbol? I will show 2 ways creating Normals. Because other things, very simple: reducing saturation through SmoothStep and distortion through UV. Here I used water_d texture, so others can give more realistic #UnrealEngine #gamedev #UE5

I know you love it, Unreal Engine, materials... There is a node (Motion_4WayChaos) that moves the texture in different directions as layers, and if you pass it radial coordinates (VectorToRadialValue), it becomes more interesting #UnrealEngine #UE5 #gamedev #uetips #indiedev

UE5.7で標準ノードとして入ったCell Bombのテスト。 関数の中身を見る限り、City Sampleの実装とほぼ同じだけど、関数の構成が汎用的かつ最適化されてる。 もはや有名な手法だけど、こういった地面系のタイリング感をかなり緩和できる。 #UnrealEngine
