I found a mayfly in my house today and I moved it outside to live its best (less than 24 hour long) life. Adult mayflies don’t have mouthparts so they don’t live for very long. Their sole purpose as an adult is to breed before they die!

Spent the week on a road trip out east. First trip without needing to use the g tube 🥰

You’re never really done with gardening as you replace spent plants, but all the heat loving plants are in and the trellises are up!

My partner went on a work trip and brought covid home. He didn’t have symptoms but came home wearing a mask and tested positive on a rapid tests. We’ve set up separate living spaces, opened windows, and turned the air exchange to max. Oh and my toddler has an unrelated cough 🙃

A year ago we switched from peg tube to a mic key button g tube, and today we were cleared to take it out for good! I am so grateful for this little life saving device, and to be celebrating a third birthday this weekend!

Was my toddler ahead of the game by getting RSV in August instead of now? We made it over three years before she got it and we are so grateful her little lungs had time to heal and grow. Hang in there medically complex kiddos. It was risky then and it’s even riskier now 💔
