You have been misled by ahmadis into believing that they carry any type of authority on the Islamic tradition. Islam is a faith of tawhid, submission and justice, just because one denies the forced humanist liberal ideals you project on Islam, doesn't make one a TLP supporter.

Islam is exactly how the companions of the Prophet understood it, their principles, their interpretation and their beliefs around it. Islam allows freedom of the existence of other religions, granted that they don't LARP as Islam itself, while in actuality being kufr.

An ideology/group/thing definitionally excludes every other to exist as a distinct category, to be itself. You're great at being a tolerant, loving, and libertarian individual but sadly at the cost of the foundational principles or logic. State doesn't, true, but ulema do.
