We've had a lovely couple of experience days linked to our new writing topic 'This is How we Do it'. We have had a big breakfast together- sampling popular breakfast items where we live and made plates with our go to breakfasts and lunches!

We have also thought about what our life at school is like, what kind of homes we have and who is in our family. We made maps of our journeys to school-labelling the physical and human features. We can't wait to tell others around the world all about us! This is How we do it!

We had a fantastic final session of Gymnastics this week. We have learned so many new skills and we are now able to use the apparatus confidently and safely.

We have had a lovely time celebrating World Book Day. We enjoyed a book tasting session, sharing our stories with our friends and reading Mrs Caffrey's mystery books!

We loved our visit from the fire service today. We learnt about fire safety in our own homes and asked lots of questions about being a firefighter too! We couldn't believe that the radio could go off at any moment- and they would have to rush off to an emergency!

We have had a fantastic day celebrating the King's Coronation. We have made crowns and flags, decorated biscuits and done some super letter writing.

We had so much fun making these amazing friendship potions for Mr Wolf. We are now going to write a set of instructions so you can make one too! Check back soon!

During our RE sessions, we have been thinking about people's special places. Here are some of the places that are special to us.

We had a fantastic afternoon thinking about what we love about ourselves and others yesterday. We wrote kind notes for each other and read them out during circle time.

Our right of the month is Article 27- the right to food, clothing and a safe place to live. Fair trade helps to make sure that hard working farmers and their families access their rights too.

Practical maths this morning. We had to make up the number 30. We had rockets, robo dogs and lots of plants! Super collaborative learning!
