Trying to figure out when codex is gonna get MCP support - seems like there’s both a TypeScript version and a Rust version? Seems weird to have a brand new project already rewriting into a new language.

Sort of annoying that because of the cut-off, Codex doesn’t know about the responses API and constantly tries to revert to completions.

A model that's 5% better is all well and good but the thing I'm really waiting for is external tool use (i.e. MCP) in ChattyG.

All of the Live Activity stuff in the ChatGPT app seems to have randomly stopped working for me. No LA for Deep Research or Codex anymore. I think I tried all of the troubleshooting I can do myself. Boo.

I can't for the life of me get ChatGPT not to hallucinate task responses when I ask it to search the web. Always makes things up, always. Same prompt run interactively works fine. Super frustrating!

I generally think the iOS and macOS apps for ChatGPT are very good but it’s a bummer that some features are still web only like picking Deep Research and Search connectors.

Tried Gemini CLI. A test wasn’t passing so to fix the issue, it deleted all my code. One way to fix it I guess. 🙃
