Speaking of Cornwall Police Service vulnerable-sector team, Chief Shawna Spowart mentions grant has been received to hire a second mental-health worker. CPS would cover wage for officer to expand this to two teams. CPS 2025 budget presentation underway

Spowart also speaks about four community safety officers included in the 2025 Cornwall Police Service budget. They'll fit in between sworn officers, and special constables.

And the big number, Cornwall Police Service board being asked to approve a $24.1M budget for 2025, a 4.98% increase over 2024.
