Thank you to everyone that joined us for tonight’s special preview of the Northumberland Open Exhibition. It was fantastic to welcome many of the artists whose brilliant work is featured this year, as well as new colleagues from North East Museums and friends from across the region.

Really great to be at the Miners Picnic Woodhorn Museum, really enjoyed the Ashington Colliery Band and a great range of activities for families


The West Gate at Arbeia, South Shields Roman Fort lit up for the 28 Years Later Movie promo campaign. The film has been shot at several North East locations and there's a gala screening at Tyneside Cinema tomorrow. NewcastleGateshead
