Antoinette Lattouf has been awarded $70,000 for pain and suffering, with a later hearing to decide any further pecuniary damages, after winning her unlawful dismissal case against the ABC. The court found Lattouf was sacked because of her political views about the war in Gaza.

“I was punished for my political beliefs” - broadcaster Antoinette Lattouf after winning her unfair dismissal case against the ABC. The judge found the public broadcaster bowed to “an orchestrated campaign by pro-Israel lobbyists.”

The judge in the Antoinette Lattouf case says the decision to unlawfully terminate her contract after pressure from “a pro-Israel lobby” was solely made by a manager, Oliver Taylor. Lattouf’s lawyer claims otherwise: “it went right to the top.” ⁦10 News First⁩
