On World Health Day, we note that it’s just over two years since the World Health Organization (WHO) characterized COVID-19 as a pandemic. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and countless others follow in the footsteps of a The Royal Society fellow in the 1600s who was first to use data for insight into a pandemic.

The founding of our country would have been the same, worse, or better if there had been access to social media as there is today?

Recently, the New York Times magazine had an article on "How Jewish people built the American theater as we know it." It reminded me that for decades I have been thankful for the contribution of Jewish people to science, education at all levels, medicine, movies and the theater.
