Pretty poor of Fiji to over-water the ground like that. Our poor blokes were forced into aimless chip kicks… disgraceful.

I think the level of TMO intervention should depend entirely upon how cool/fun the try was. End-to-end thriller? We should turn a blind eye to everything short of homicide. Lineout maul? All good to get granular.

A bit hard to buy into believing the team currently ranked 8th should stand a chance against a combined team of the best players from teams 3, 5, 7 and 14. And yet…

Sad for Noah but see no reason why Donaldson can’t do the job. Arguably the form Super 10, kicks well, been around long enough.

In 2013, the combined score of the Lions vs Brumbies/Reds/Tahs/Force was 150-60. In 2025 it was 163-53. So all signs point to the Lions having the edge but not overwhelmingly.

Assuming no further injuries, I think the Wallabies team is relatively straightforward. Skelton the only ?? 1. Bell 2. Porecki 3. AAA 4. Frost 5. Williams 6. Valetini 7. McReight 8. Wilson (c) 9. Gordon 10. Donaldson 11. Potter 12. Ikitau 13. JAS 14. Jorgensen 15. Wright

I'm sorry but winning with a series of clutch shots is in no way a 'Bradbury moment'. Sporting literacy at an all-time low.

Game day. This Wallaby team has the talent, but do they have the belief? I can’t say I’m confident but very keen to see how they go.

The sad thing about last night, and the general feeling of Wallabies fandom, is when you score to go 23-5 up a part of you is jubilant, but there’s a voice that immediately says ‘man this is going to suck when we lose this’. And that voice is right way too often.

Saturday was still a pretty good night for Aussie rugby. Put to bed talk of the Lions going elsewhere in 2037. 90k crowd, big TV ratings. Would love a win, but a last-minute competitive loss was far from the worst case scenario.

On the Morgan decision, I think about it this way: the ref needed to not only have a feel for the game, but a feel for the series. What did the people actually want to see? Pretty clearly the answer was a Wallaby penalty and a yellow card to Owen Farrell.
