At the 61st Bologna Children's Book Fair held in Bologna, Italy. Cheryl and I were on Transatlantic Connections, Literature, Childhood and Diversity, a panel featuring publishers from Nigeria, Brazil and Colombia who discussed Black literature for children in their country.

As we celebrate National Poetry Month, I am happy to share this poem from my collection, Journey, Poems By Wade Hudson, published by Third World Press.
