Today we commemorate the victims of Holodomor, a crime of unfathomable proportions. During the years 1932-1933, millions of Ukrainians were starved to death by the Soviet authorities. The horrors of Holodomor must never be forgotten. #StandWithUkraine 📸:President.gov.ua

If you want a measure of the scale of the transatlantic rift, consider this: I am told yesterday was the 1st time since 1945 the US voted with Russia & against Europe at the UN on an issue of European security. Just let that sink in. 1/4

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

Erica is 1,000% correct. Talking about the Trump campaign proposal during the campaign brought charges of Trump Derangement Syndrome, but now it’s the moderate version!

Today’s GDP number, like always, will be revised many times in the coming years with better source data. Based on historical revision magnitudes there is a 49% chance it gets revised to a positive—but also could be more negative. Here is what the “final” number could look like.

A paper that I previously cited here for it's cool results (described below) was just retracted for fraud. It was entirely made up and the experiment never happened. The author has been kicked out of MIT.
