#Cybersecurity can be a tough issue to deal with, especially in hospitality. Jason Stead (Choice Hotels) & Patrick Dunphy (American Hotel & Lodging Association) told us all about it during their #HTNEXT presentation: Cybersecurity - A 21st Century Franchise Differentiator.

We thoroughly enjoyed today’s interactive #htnext workshop on #connectivity and #Passpoint. The session also gave attendees the chance to brainstorm around guest benefits, return on investment (ROI), and any major blockers for implementation of Passpoint.

Following a May merger, HTNG became AHLA’s technology arm. The alignment provides significant benefits to both organizations and their members. Today at #HTNEXT, AHLA COO and EVP Kevin Carey talked about what the merger means for members of both groups.

Yesterday we wrapped up #htnext with a great panel that shared insights into the leadership path for influential women in tech and lessons they’ve learned. The evening then wrapped up with a great outing at Copper Canyon. We look forward to today’s program!

Patrick Dunphy (American Hotel & Lodging Association) kicked off the program this morning at #HTNEXT with an introduction to #HTNG’s new website, the importance of HotelsACT and an overview of HTNG workgroups.

This morning at #HTNEXT, we learned all about how to combat burnout. We were joined by resilience expert Deborah Gilboa, MD (“Ask Dr. G”) who led a great interactive session and taught us about dealing with stress and strengthening ourselves and our teams.

Today, #HTNEXT attendees learned from hospitality industry IT leaders Brent Haines (G6 Hospitality), Dan Kornick (Loews Hotels), and Ramki Srinivasan (Great Wolf Lodge) about current trends in tech that are driving innovation and revenue.

This HT-NEXT discussion about The New Hybrid Workforce: Humans + Machines was led by Kerry Goyette, who works as President & Founder of Aperio Consulting Group. What great insight she shared for hospitality companies to consider moving forward. #htnext #machinelearning #hybrid
