The new hospitality suites are a huge step forward, but it doesn’t matter if the performance on the pitch part is bad. It’s another season of misery with no sign of progression on the pitch. I can’t wait till this season is over.

The same number of points Town got the whole of 23/24 season…

Town have lost the same number of games as the top 3 sides in the division did combined and only 7 teams lost more games than Town did (20).

Buckingham, Wellens or Challinor would have been my preference, but if it wasn’t one of those 3 it was always going to someone left field. I have no clue about how good Lee Grant is, but he played over 500 games and finished his career at United - hopefully he sets the standard.

Looks like Neo Eccleston is back for pre season, no confirmation of a new deal yet.

Clean sheet and winning by 3 goals, while not feeling like we were playing at full capacity. Only thing important today was getting the 3 points and getting a feel good factor back into the club. It is only one game, but couldn’t have asked for a better start.

An away win & by a 2 goal margin. Again not an outstanding performance, but encouraging and professional. There is a togetherness forming in the group and each of them look proud to play for the club. Tuesday will be tough, but a very good test for this squad.

A bit reminiscent of last early last season, with key mistakes in the back line. Difference is this year is the depth we have: Nicholls, Feeney and Wallace all waiting in the wings. You’d expect one of those to come in vs Doncaster.
