Thank you for a fantastic meeting ! Members from the Cenci lab Lund University , Kühn lab Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin & Siebner lab DRCMR presented their latest research on "ADAptive and Precise brain-circuit Targeting in Parkinson’s disease". "ADAPT-PD" is funded by Lundbeckfonden.
PhD student Birgitte Liang Chen Thomsen Chen Thomsen presents her brand new fMRI results on #Parkinsons at the #dgkn2024: The posterior putamen shows deficient activation by movement, while the ventral striatum is less responsive to reward in a pragmatic OFF medication state.
Now out in Brain Stimulation .... Single-pulse TMS of M1 elicits site-specific high-frequency immediate transcranial evoked potentials (i-TEPs) in 25 out of 25 subjects iTEPs - are modified by stimulation intensity and current direction - vary in frequency and amplitude
