For anyone with one member of a couple earning over £50k (but less than £80k) with a child born after 6 Jan 2024, who has not yet claimed Child Benefit: wait until 6 April 2024!

Backdated claims will be treated as 2024/25 if a HICBC would otherwise arise in 2023/24
