A Rapid Action Medical Team (RAMT) of #IAF has been deployed at a high altitude base in Eastern Ladakh since 01 April 24 as part of Op #Sadbhavna .

More than 75 civilians have benefitted from the special facilities at this camp.

As we celebrate Holi across the country, Air Mshl PM Sinha, AOC-in-C HQ Western Air Command, IAF visited forward posts in Eastern Ladakh early this morning to celebrate Holi with personnel of Army, ITBP and IAF. He complimented them for steadfast vigil despite terrain and weather conditions.

To assess operational preparedness and interact with personnel at forward bases, Air Mshl PM Sinha, AOC-in-C HQ Western Air Command, IAF flew sorties in a Jaguar and a MiG-21 on 19 Mar 24. He appreciated the Op readiness of the bases and high morale of all personnel.

As part of Op #Sadbhavana , #IAF An-32 aircraft were deployed to airlift critical casualties from Leh to Chandigarh recently.

With roads closed due to snow and weather, the IAF remains one of the only lifelines for our citizens from #Ladakh and its surrounding remote areas.…

IAF swiftly responded to an urgent request from Himachal Pradesh Govt for a Casevac sortie from Stingri Helipad earlier this morning. Two critically ill patients and a medical team were airlifted by a Mi-17 V5 heptr to Bhuntar airfield, saving lives.

#IAF Cheetal helicopter successfully evacuated a patient with critical head injuries from Atting Village in the Zanskar region of South Ladakh, following continuous snowfall, which had cut off all ground access to the region.

Air Mshl PM Sinha, AOC-in-C WAC flew a combat mission at one of our forward fighter bases, on 26 Feb 24. The sortie was flown in an operational profile through dusk, culminating at night. He reviewed the status of combat readiness at the base and interacted with airwarriors.

An IAF Dornier aircraft was activated at short notice to airlift a team of doctors of Army Hospital (R&R), to retrieve a liver from Pune to Delhi during the night on 23 Feb 24.

The subsequent transplant surgery helped save the life of a #Veteran .
