It was fun hosting the HPU men’s golf team for dinner tonight. I lucked out picking Mason as my corn hole partner, he might have carried us!

I am excited about this new chapter in the history of our school. Thank you Dr. Gramling for leading so well these past six years, and welcome Dr. Lowrie!

Great morning of worship today at Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown, as they honor their pastor of 30 years who is retiring, Dan Wooldridge. Grateful to call him a HPU graduate, and friend.

It was an honor for Melinda and I to be at FBC Kaufman last night as they celebrated 25 years of ministry of Dr. Brent and Julie Gentzel. Grateful for these faithful servants, and glad I could present him with a certificate of congrats from Howard Payne University.

Hard to believe we have one week of classes behind us, been a great start to the year! Thanks to Dr. Jason Burden for leading us in Convocation. Enjoyed meeting so many new students at the alumni event, and spending time with the Howard Payne University Football team - love the new office decor!
