An interesting map on itv news showing the breakdown of CO2 emissions in the UK. Agriculture is a very small % but we seem to get most of the blame. Getting rid of livestock and the people feeding the country won't help much according to that graph!

Heathrow plan to demolish over 700 homes, concrete over more land and add 700 flights a day. They then tell us that livestock fart too much which is making the ice melt!! Maybe I'm missing something here.....?? #crazyworld

Another 20mm in rain gauge this morning! At least got some drilling done yesterday. 18 acres naked oats in 3 fields and Andrew Wilson did 20 acres of wheat for me. Good have such neighbours. #pintforpayment? #optimistic

Still waiting for the dry week to start that was forecast! Pleased they didn't say it would be wet....! Local BBC app is still saying dry.

It's not often I think the Daily Mail prints sensible stuff but this letter today is great. It puts a solid sensible view across.

In a shop today and asked for discount and my wife explained to the lady serving that I was a farmer. A lady overheard and said she had watched Jeremy Clarkson and now had total respect for farmers. She hadn't realised how hard a job it is. He's doing something right!!

Plenty of pictures on here of swanky new combines so I thought a picture of something more simple and peasant like! 1986 8080. Still going reasonably well-although it does have its moments!! Air con still works though.
