Very well deserved recognition for Paul. I had the pleasure of working on the same team as him when we were #Harrogate Beat Managers together. Now I have the pleasure of having him as one of my School Liaison Officers. 🏆

So I have just spoken to a young man who read my blog. He has just passed our recruitment process and said his story mirrors my own. Both from the same village, country of origin, single parent and both went to @RisedaleCollege. However, he is much younger than me!

Yes, following all the drama at Hogwarts, Harry abandoned a career in magic to examine the morality of capital punishment with regard to the Anglican church. Oddly, this book has not yet been adapted as part of the film series.

In addition to my police work I've been working on this part-time at the University of York. Lots of hard work but it was well worth it. I learnt so much and made friends from all round the world. Keep an open mind and never stop learning.
