Thanks to the amazing response to the crowdfund we have bought a marquee. With regulations stating that from April 12th we can only do outdoor seating, a few more folk can enjoy a beer or two at The Hop.

Sanding the floor of the bar this week. It’s a bit dusty in here.

So we’ve put a marquee in the garden, sanded and varnished the floor, amongst others yet be announced; there must be a reason behind all of this...

Oh yeah, reopening. Serving beer and all that.

We’ve got eight tables which are covered, they will be bookable, and nine that are a rock-up-and-see or if you fancy a pint as you walk by. Booking slot are for 90 minutes or one and a half hours. Booking here: hopinnswindon.co.uk/contact/

Rules still apply, obvs. Rule of six/two households. You must be seated at a table to eat/drink and order. Facemasks are mandatory for when you aren’t. And obviously you can’t drink indoors at present so bring your waterproofs!

Hello. So, things are going to change. From Monday the 19th of July we’ll no longer need to have restrictions and stuff. Call me crazy but I’m all good with that. Some might not be though, so please think about others while drinking in our gaffe.

There will be no need to wear a face covering, socially distance or be sat at a table to drink. Also, you can order at the BAR!

Also, there will be FOOD, Wednesday through to Saturday. New chef, new menu. HOP NOSH!!!

We’re lucky to have such a great crowd between our two pubs and I know that you’ll all be cool. Stay safe kids, see you all soon. x
