Despite the challenging situation in Haiti, we continue changing lives in the region with our partner, Hope Health Action. Our Centre has been busy lately! Clinics, rehab centres and hospitals in Haiti have been sending trucks to be loaded with FreeWheelchairMission wheelchairs📷
Congratulations to our much loved CEO and co-founder Hope Health Action Carwyn Hill who has been awarded an MBE in the Kings Birthday 2023 Honours, in recognition of his services to international healthcare, food aid and education ❤️
As a young drama student, Carwyn saw the injustice in Haiti, founded HHA and uprooted to a new country. He is a campaigner for equality & advocate for the marginalised. He leads with kindness, humility and by example - a truly inspirational human being. hopehealthaction.org/19/History-Bac…

Wheelchair and assistive device distribution in Uganda is in full swing, thanks to Through the Roof! ♿️ Their team visited us in May, but the equipment was stuck in customs then. Now that it's arrived, they are providing remote fitting support from the UK. Thank you, TTR!
It's estimated that over 4.7 million Haitians are facing severe hunger. ‼️ Thanks to Rise Against Hunger and Konbit Sante, our partner hospital created a programme to help reduce food insecurity in our region! Food distribution and nutrition education for up to 900 families per month. 🍚
Dr. Raphaelle (King's College London) and Josephine (midwife at our new clinic) partnered together to deliver Cradle VSA training in Kajo Keji, South Sudan. At 3 different locations in 3 days, the team trained 30 midwives from 12 of the functional clinics! 👏
