Honour A Woman Julian Hill MP Elizabeth Hartnell-Y Carol Kiernan Hear, hear. Time to overhaul the #AustralianHonours - just in time for their 50th anniversary in 2025. They are archaic and irrelevant to many modern Australians. #TheGongs require a deliberate approach to re-design to ensure diversity and equality. This is sensible and fair.
Time to re-imagine the Order of Australia in its 50th anniversary year, 2025, to celebrate leading Australians in all our diversity! We have some work ahead. Excellent speech Julian Hill MP #honourawoman #recognitionmatters Elizabeth Hartnell-Y Ruth McGowan
Thanks Julian Hill MP for your support of the #honourawoman movement, calling for re-design of Order of Australia to reflect Australia’s diversity-gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, disability, socioeconomic background, geography. Elizabeth Hartnell-Y Ruth McGowan Carol Kiernan

Tracey Spicer AM GAICD Carol Kiernan Elizabeth Hartnell-Y Honour A Woman Jacqueline Maley Thankyou Tracey.
As you know, gender equality is never handed to you on a plate, you have to fight the privileged and powerful who benefit from the systems that perpetuate entrenched inequality.
We have more work to do so that this is not a one-off result but a system change.
🌱 Diana Ryall AM 🌏🌈🇳🇿🇷🇼💧 Honour A Woman Yes!!!! And thanks for all your work as an ambassador of Honour A Woman! Now to embed the change! #honourawoman
There are now 12 women on the 19 person Council for the Order of Australia with its first female chair, Djirbul woman Shelley Reys AO. When we began the #honourawoman movement in 2017 there were only 4 women and 15 men. Boards need to be representative of communities they serve
