A passion is when you take a break and still do something that involves work. I have been so fortunate to study spotted hyaenas (among all of the large African carnivores). They have opened my eyes in so many ways. So here's an ink doodle in their honour. The infamous sploot.

As a non-mathematical (or even Statistical) person, I'm interested to know why a logistical regression is the standard choice in Step Selection Functions. Any ideas? It seems to almost be the "rule" in SSFs? #SSF #Spatialdata
