Picture this! Billboards and electioneering especially focused at children near school gates. Why wouldn’t they? Confronted with the aphrodisiac of power desperate spin doctors will push their political masters to spend millions on any hook to canvas YOUR kids’ votes.

This is symbolically resonant: Danny Kruger articulating the only way that we can be saved as a nation - viz. a return to Christianity - to an almost completely empty House of Commons. I argue something similar in my book The Great Return: amzn.to/4m4ze73

The more I listen to this speech in an empty House of Commons the more I think this is our equivalent of Keble’s National Apostasy sermon.

From the daftest of politicians who cannot see the irony that she herself got freebies like a weekend in a luxury New York apartment. A lesson in how to destroy an industry!

Anecdotally seen the damage in the service industry with the stupid NI increase which has meant less part time cafe jobs around for students and teens, thereby making university less affordable.

Light pollution is one of the most radicalizing phenomena to me, in how it has robbed the majority of the world's population of one of the most beautiful parts of our planet's patrimony.

Farewell Mull and Iona. Now a genteel unhurried drive back to sunny Salcombe after a lovely rest and a family wedding in Aberdeen.

That if birth rates continue to fall the global catastrophe will make solving climate change look like child’s play. Zero babies=societal collapse Irrespective of David Attenborough views.

We’ve decided to pay for private health care for one member of our family. The A&E care equates to a 10 minute wait, operations are done within a week. It’s a shame our Labrador doesn’t realise how blessed he is.
