Busy times in our EYFS!

Year 2 had a great afternoon at the Leisure Centre. They met with other local schools to take part in a multi-sports event #nwlssp

This afternoon, Year 4/5 have worked in groups to recreate an Anglo-Saxon village using information cards to identify the key features.

⚽️ Fantastic football this evening from the Holy Cross year 5/6 team! We drew one match 1-1 and won the second match 5-0! Which means we are through to the quarter finals! Thank you to everyone who has helped and supported the team 👏

Today in history, Year 1 have been putting events about Amy’s life after her flight to Australia on a timeline. They then decided if the event was happy or sad and made a living graph of Amy’s life between 1931 and 1941.

EYFS - We’ve been on a shape hunt!

Nursery have been reading the book The Naughty Bus. We have been busy sequencing the story as well as retelling the story using props and creating our own London bus. 🚌

⚽️ Absolutely amazing football! The year 5/6 girls won their first match 5-2, then they drew the second match 4-4! Fantastic play from the whole team. Well done girls 👏👏

A big thank you to Hugh, our Chaplain, and Father Gabriel for a beautiful commissioning mass for our chaplaincy team. Our chaplains made promises to help our school community live out our faith. Well done everyone!
