Holtec Britain and Sheffield Forgemasters have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in support of Holtec's SMR-160 small modular reactor UK projects. Holtec intends to deploy a fleet of SMR-160s in the UK to bring reliable and affordable electricity to 9 million homes by 2050.
