Our wonderful gymnasts were brilliantly creative and polite at the Y3/4 School Games Rise Gymnastics event. They performed sequences and used equipment like ribbons, hoops and balls. Then bouncing on the trampoline. Some real experts. Well done

Hollywood pupils participated in a city wide football event for World Women's Day. They represented the school in style with a win,draw and loss on a cold morning in the shadow of Villa Park. Well done girls.

Y5/6 South Birmingham League. The girls won 2 of there 3 league games and then drew with Chilcote in a friendly game. Well done girls, there are some great team performances happening.

Y5/6 Boys Football South Birmingham League. A good outing for the boys. Just lacking goals. We keep clean sheets. However we did get a moral boosting victory over the league leaders and are the only school to take points off the top 2 schools. Well done

Year 5/6 Boys football. They took to the pitch for their final 4 qualification matches. 2 draws and 2 losses, but they played really well together, 3 for the first time. League 2 or league 3 this year. But we need some goals.

Y5/6 South Birmingham Girls football league 3 CHAMPIONS!!! Well done girls. From 0-1 down in first 10 seconds to winners. A great effort. Never give up. Over to you boys!

South Birmingham Boys Football finals League 3. Despite having the youngest team Hollywood still finished 3rd. A culmination of teams hard work for 15 boys across the year. Results included 1 win 2 draws and 1 loss. Just need more goals next year.

RR have loved learning about different countries around the world after reading Emma Jane’s Aeroplane. We made our own aeroplanes, packed clothes for different climates, made postcards and tried foods from around the world.
