Sunday June 16th: Join us at 12pm for readings from the books of James Joyce to celebrate Bloomsday 2024. Attendees are welcome to read an extract from the works of Joyce on the day. Pieces should be kept to a maximum of 3 minutes, while listeners are encouraged to stop by too!

Tomorrow, Tuesday 15th of October, the store will be closing at 5pm to accommodate our biannual stock take. Thank you for your patience, opening hours will return to normal on Wednesday.

This evening at 6pm we will be hosting the launch for “The Keeper of the Bees” by Eimear Chaomhánach and illustrated by Jane Carkill. All welcome to attend, as well as with all other events scheduled this October in store. See below for more details - we hope to see you there.

Eoin Colfer and P.J. Lynch return to HF tomorrow, to sign and dedicate new and previous titles in time for Xmas. Colfer's newest title is "Beanie the Bansheenie", illustrated by Steve McCarthy, while Lynch’s recent project is "Kevin and the Blackbirds”written by David Almond.
