The Flames are inviting fans to come together for a Candlelight Vigil on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. MT. The vigil will take place at the memorial outside the Scotiabank Saddledome as we honour the lives of Johnny & Matthew Gaudreau.

For those unable to attend in person, a live stream will be available on the Flames website/app, as well as our official social media channels.

It’s been 22 days since the hockey community lost Johnny and Matthew. As we still mourn the lost of them, I’ve been wearing a hockey shirt every Friday and I think as a community all hockey fans should be doing it.
