The new condition of registration is accompanied by survey findings reporting that "12% of students who experienced sexual harassment in the last year made a formal report to their universities". There's work to be done to build confidence and improve outcomes to empower choice.

New publication from IfAS 👇 highlighting key themes from an analysis of domestic homicide reviews whereby the method of homicide was strangulation. Key themes include the prevalence of non-fatal strangulation in the abuse histories of these victims.

Very happy to see this finalised and published after leading on this guidance on behalf of Institute For Addressing Strangulation. The police response to strangulation is vitally important and we hope this guidance will help to better support victim/survivors who want to pursue criminal justice.
