Thanks to British Council for interviewing me at the East Asia Alumni UK Symposium in Hong Kong to share thoughts about my education experience in the UK. British higher ed is truly among the best in the world, representing excellence in quality, diversity & global recognition.

Attended the Hong Kong Jockey Club's info seminar last week with fellow members from my horseracing syndicate. Fingers crossed for success in finding our dream horse this year!

The Hong Kong Derby 2025!

Took a guided tour in the Judges Box at Sha Tin Racecourse, where Hong Kong Jockey Club's judges make decisions on race results using the finest tech e.g. cameras that take 3,200 images per second. It's special to get inside this normally off-limits area & see how judging works!

Completed the "Run For Girls" fundraising race organised by Plan International. Hundreds & thousands of men showed up, because we stand against human trafficking, support gender equality, call for safety for all girls/women & defend their rights to health, education & livelihood!

Watched Hong Kong's horse races live on Easter Sunday from my room at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Beijing Clubhouse. With its incomparable location, facilities & services, the Clubhouse was the best place to stay during my vacation in the capital. Members can feel like home there.

Meaningful day spent planting trees in Hong Kong's countryside. There's never a wrong time & never too late to play a part for environmental & ecological sustainability. Every sapling cultivated will help nurture our planet & safeguard a greener future for upcoming generations.

Had an incredible afternoon joining a community service visit to Yan Chai Hospital's Child Care Centre & Hostel, where we spent joyful time w/ children who have special abilities/needs. It's heart-warming to be able to bring them love, fun & company through games, music & snacks!

Saturday night live! It's so enjoyable to watch Britain's "2,000 Guineas Day" at a party by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. I was lucky to be 1 of the 5 fastest to answer all questions right in a quiz & win a prize. Thanks to HKJC for holding this event for fans of overseas racing!

Happy 150th anniversary to Oxford Uni Polo Club & congrats on the successful Golden Age Ball celebrating this milestone! As a veteran of this great club & team, I am so proud of its history, traditions & legacy. Wishing OUPC continued growth & many more achievements in the future!

An early morning fuelled by horse power! We went down to the training area and the racecourse to watch horses do their workout and breeze. The sound of hooves stomping the track always gives a thrill!

What a thrilling and stylish day at the annual UK Derby at the Epsom Downs Racecourse this weekend. I was totally exhilarated to be there to experience for myself this iconically British event featuring speedy racehorses, festive celebrations and chic fashion!

More pics from the UK Derby Festival! Since 1780, the Derby has been the UK & the world's top horse races. The racing itself is a spectacle, but there is more—it’s a full-blown carnival w/ glamorous fashion, live music & gourmet treats. A major event ticked off my bucket list!

Finally had the chance to watch this theatrical masterpiece when visiting Bristol during my UK trip. One of the best shows I have ever experienced. Horses really are humans' best friends!

Travelled back in Oxford for the meeting of the University of Oxford Alumni Board, where matters of alumni relations & institutional development are discussed. I'm honoured to represent the voices of Greater China alumni & contribute opinions/ideas on key priorities of our university.

"Best of British" themed races earlier on Monday at the Royal Windsor Racecourse before Royal Ascot this week. It's great there are horseracing fixtures around the UK all week long during the season. I would love to visit as many racecourses and major race meetings as I can!
