PSA: Stop committing to schools because coaches are driving you around in super cars and letting you take pictures on the field that’s my advice for tonight 😂😂

More muscle on an athlete in a sports like baseball, hockey, football, wrestling, & basketball will actually help with their speed, power, and explosiveness. Building strength in the weight room is GREAT but you also need to consume enough protein, carbs, & kcal to support gains.

Coaches- we NEED your advocacy in the support staff salary conversation. Support staff are leaving at an alarming rate & your programs/SAs will be impacted. If things dont change, you might end up doing the academic support/sports media & sports med/compliance will be outsourced

Things more likely to cause injury than strength training 1. Too many games/overuse 2. Excess running at practice 3. Bad mechanics/overuse with sprint or plyometric training 4. Lack of strength from lack of strength training

South Forsyth rising senior Chris Nelson ran the fastest 100m (10.28 seconds) and the fastest 200m (20.87) times in the state this past spring. Those accolades contributed to him becoming the Forsyth County News Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year. forsythnews.com/sports/south-f…

I heard a coach recently say "Stop lifting weights with your Ego" He's right. Form is critical for injury prevention in the younger athlete.

As an athlete, you have two choices: 1. Humble yourself, put the team first, and be a part of something great. 2. Satisfy your ego and care only about yourself.
