Year 2 have been experts today at drawing 2D shapes ◼️🔺🛑

Year 2 had a lovely time visiting the church today practising our Christmas songs ⛪️🎶

On Tuesday the year 3’s performed their Christmas Carols on the playground to their grownups!🎄

Year 2 have been making some beautiful Christmas collages and stencil paintings this week 🎄🎨

This week year 3 have enjoyed decorating some festive biscuits and meeting Santa!🎅 🍪

Year 2 loved the panto today 🎭

Year 2 have done some fantastic learning, inputting algorithms with bee-bots, practising different skills in indoor athletics and making levers and linkages in DT!

Year 2 have learnt how to use clay to make pinch pots, made their own mats for beebots and reenacted an eyewitness’ account of Amelia Earhart’s landing!

Year 3 have had a brilliant time in science today. We’ve been making our own fossils using dinosaurs and bread.

Year 2 have been fantastic designers and engineers in D&T this week making moving monsters using linkages and pivots!

This week year 2 have created and debugged programs in Computing, ordered historical events on a timeline and practised tagging people in PE!

Year 3 have followed in the footsteps of Antarctica explorers and went on expedition around school! They have followed instructions using the 8 points of the compass and had to work together to cross the wilderness.

For PSHE Year 2 have been on a walk around the local area learning about road safety. We used a pedestrian crossing and a zebra crossing!

Year 3 have had a wicked World Book Day today, dressing up as our favourite book Characters!📚

Year 3 have been working really hard getting ready for the recorder festival next week.

Year 2 have had a fun week! Defending and marking in handball 🤾making block diagrams in Computing💻 and learning how germs spread in Science with Miss Hendrick’s help! 🦠
