I agree with all these except the “dont k looking” approach. That was my thought process in high school and I chased more curveballs in the dirt than anyone else in the state. Getting away from that helped me more as a hitter than anything else.

First day back after a week and a half of quarantine. Only cue I gave myself is swing hard and hit ball far. Should probably do that more often😂

3 plate FB machine. 2 swings then move to the next plate. Machine mixing in some changeups so great for working on adjustability.

Been messing around with posture behind the plate lately. Feels like when I get too hunched over I tend to dive at the ball (especially CBs) which leads to less strikes. A more vertical spine helps me keep the glove moving up through the zone instead of punching pitches down.

Crazy how good my swing feels after focusing exclusively on bat speed for a few months. Some swings from this summer. 4 home runs and 5 doubles through 14 games.

I’m having the best season of my life and I just try and hit a home run every time I step in the box. Was told my whole life that’s a cardinal sin in baseball and it won’t lead to good results. Wish I had figured it out sooner.
