It’s not necessary to treat the complete carpet to protect them from textile insect pests. The edge is often the first area to be attacked. Apply #Constrain to the under edge and vacuum regularly. #carpetbeetle

At this time of year mice will come indoors for shelter. Be careful if you use bait to manage them. Several bait recipes contain cereals, a foodstuff for carpet beetle larvae. You could end up with more than just mice as residents.

CSI, why so many Clothes Moth larvae in the bath. Head to attic to find capped down lighters surrounded by wool insulation - home to hundreds if not thousands of moths. Many falling through the downlighter into the room below. Crime solved. But what to do about the wool?

An incredibly busy day at the HBPGE event in association with Historic Houses . This was the stand before opening. Have talked strategies for clothes moths, carpet beetles, the dreaded cluster fly, and many more. Good to meet old contacts and new. historyonics.com

A reminder for all our heritage clients who have created such magical settings for their visitors with many splendid Christmas Trees. “Up to 25,000 insects come into the house with the tree.” See it, stop it, Constrain it!
