Starting our celebration of Black History and South Asian Heritage Month off with some displays to spark student’s curiosity, following an excellent assembly yesterday, supported by Sixth Form at Nottingham High School students Chloe, Zaid and Ethan.

Great to speak to students in Sixth Form at Nottingham High School about Black History and South Asian Heritage Month this morning. Reflecting on the events in Stockport this summer and how, in spite of backlash such as this, immigration has many positive impacts on British society.

Fantastic to have so many y.11 Historians supporting a talk to Nottingham High School Infant and Junior School students about the diverse nature of those who fought in WWII, to sit alongside their study of this period in y.5.

Looking forward to welcoming Scary Little Girls in collaboration with Learning Team at Historic Royal Palaces to Nottingham High School! Notts High IJS y.5 and y.6 as well as Year 7 at Nottingham High School Year 8 at Nottingham High School and Year 9 at Nottingham High School will all get to enjoy today’s performance exploring the life of suffragette and activist Sophia Duleep Singh.
