Delighted to say I'll be starting a PhD with UCL History & Wellcome Collection, funded by LAHP in October, exploring health & the body in the Wellcome's early modern commonplace books! In the archives today & these sources are so rich & intriguing, I can't wait to get started!

Delighted to have (at last!) submitted my MPhil - have loved learning all about time, women & recipe books this year, and very grateful for all the support I've received from my supervisors & the community University of Glasgow. I will miss this project and Glasgow very much!

Today is the day! I'm making a 17th century hand scrub w/ Julia Nurse & Finn Manders Wellcome Collection in preparation for the EMROC annual transcribathon. Theme this year? Beauty by the books. Details: tinyurl.com/47p8uvfs #histstm #earlymodern UCL History RCP museum
