Final Dx Revealed: Fat-forming (lipomatous) solitary fibrous tumor. IHC for STAT6 is strong and diffusely positive. Microscopic: haphazardly arranged spindle cells admixed with prominent dilated staghorn-like vessels, wiry collagenous stroma, and extensive lipogenic areas. 1/2

FL Path residents! Check out this case: 53 y.o. F h/o breast cancer s/p lumpectomy came to ER for anemia and found a 6 cm peri-ampullary mass on CT. The tumor cells are positive for GATA3, TRPS1, and CK7 (focal) and negative for ER, CK20 and CDX2. DPC4 is retained. 1/2
